Exciting new threads are on the way from ex-pro Iris Slappendel, by the looks of a few posts from her current trip to Japan. Already in the kit game, the new range looks to be taking an Eastern-inspired turn with bold prints right alongside delicate detail.
It feels as though the wider industry is having a bit of a breather when it comes to innovating in the field of technical women’s cycle clothing right now, with Rapha’s new adventure range a bit of a hilarious example of this (thanks guys). Other brands like Morvelo and Cafe du Cycliste are doing great things in slightly different spaces, but there is definitely a gap for brands to really go the extra mile in creating affordable, technical and jaw-droppingly wonderful cycling kit.
So in advance of the official launch over on I-ris.cc, here are a few more snaps to get excited about. All borrowed from the Iris Slappendel Facebook page.
